"The Meet The Industry Conference" is an event for all aspiring artists to come and learn from actual music professionals. the list of guests includes Cleveland's first Platinum Selling Rap Artist M.C. Brainz who achieved nationwide fame for his 1991 smash single "Oochie Coochie", Scott Savol who finished in 6th place on American Idol (season 4). The Staff of the Wovu 95.9 FM radio station of Cleveland Ohio who plays local unsigned music artists, Andrew Loyd owner of The Ohio Entertainment Awards. Dj Johnny O , president of the Nerve Dj Coalition , Platinum Producer Matlock who gained his fame for producing tracks on Lil Waynes classic album "The Carter 2" and Ashtabula Brothers Josh And Matt Maunus of Top of the World Studio who have worked with such artists as Grammy-winning group Bone Thugs N Harmony, Tory Lanez, Trae The Truth, Cassidy, Bun B of UGK, Project Pat, and many others. Quincy "Big Heff Taylor of Def Jam recording and V.P. of The Nerve Djs Coalition. Dave Tolliver of the platinum-selling R&B group "Men at Large" will also be in the building (Not on the flier). The Event will have information sessions from the professionals listed above to teach the kids how to approach a career in the music business, also there will be the "Meet the Industry Showdown" where 20 local acts will compete for many amazing prizes (list of prizes below) that can jump-start their career. It has always been Josh's dream to have an Artist from his home town of Ashtabula to have a successful career in music. He feels the talent in Ashtabula needs a platform so they can succeed. This is the platform he created. this could bring a light to the Ashtabula music scene. this is gonna be an event that can show the kids that you can have a career in music and that dreams are possible.
