When you're not familiar with an artist previously, you really get your best feelings about the music because you hold no bias. With that being said, with no prior knowledge of
Phrazes, or
MC for that matter, I have a new song in '
WKND' that I can put on and really just vibe to. On the record, the two artists just wanted to take some time to let a certain woman know that she is on the mind nonstop and she should cancel her plans because they will be 'home for the weekend'. Whenever you are dealing with features you usually find that one artist outshines the other, not the case as these two compliment each other extremely well. Would love to see more work from them. This is definitely worth the listen.
