Cleveland rapper Paper Paulk is gearing up to drop his new EP, Power, tomorrow, but before it comes out, he decides to debut a new track titled "Deposit" featuring Pusha T. It's not just a huge look for Paulk to be on a song with an artist like Pusha, but it's also a prime opportunity for him to show fans that he has what it takes to hold his own with the best in the game. Over gritty production, Paulk spits a mean opening verse before diving into a simple, yet effective hook that serves its purpose in between the menacing rhymes from both artists.
As expected, Pusha brought out his full-blown A-game for this feature, with a number of lines about his past days on the street. With a number of stellar lines throughout his verse, Pusha steals the show here: "Niggas tried to play connect four when the connect fell/I'm the reason Whitney exhaled/Used to reach me on a Nextel/Recompress and go berserk with it/My new connect was off the surf with it." Along with this track, Paulk's new EP, which you can pre-order on iTunes here, will include five other songs and a feature with Kissie Lee. Stream "Deposit" below, and look out for the full project to drop tomorrow.
