Twitter: @MenaceGotBeats @Trinidadjamesgg, @kingchip King Chip definitely recorded this while the Cavs still had Kyrie!! lol Via Complex Menace is making his hoop dreams become reality. The English producer, best known for crafting the beat for Desiigner’s Hot 100-topping “Panda,” has teamed with Trinidad James and King Chip for his new single “Kyrie,” premiering exclusively on Billboard.com. The standalone single, explains Menace, came from a studio session in L.A. with James. “It was around the NBA playoffs and the Cavs were playing the Warriors on the big screen in the studio, and Kyrie did a crazy move and Trinidad got the hook from it, saying ‘I feel like I'm Kyrie you can't check me,’” he says. “So I just sat on the the record for a while and two weeks ago I turned on SportsCenter and Kyrie is the talk of the town with his trade to the Celtics. So it was only right I release the record now with all this Kyrie hype.” In addition to “Kyrie,” Menace (born Adnan Khan) initially struck success in 2016 when Desiigner reached out to him after hearing the beat for “Panda” on his YouTube page. The song blew up after Kanye West included it on “Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 2” off The Life of Pablo, and in Dec. 2016, he released The Beat Tape Vol. 1 to show off his artistic prowess. Up next: “I am currently working on some records with Nines, who is one of the U.K's biggest artists,” he says. “I cut a record with Dave East but it didn't make his last album so I might release it on my project too. I been working closely with a lot of song writers this quarter to try and place bigger records. I have a lot in store for the remainder of the year and let's not forget -- ‘Panda’ still breaking records.”
