Not many rappers will show their personal side... I feel most rappers think they have to keep this gangster persona which is not the case. La'Velle Lewis shows you don't have to always be gangster with his song "On My Way." Rapping over an acoustic instrumental Lewis takes hold a more serious tone and tell his story about his life, parents, how he's not like any other rapper, and more. I can connect to a track like this more then any kind of trap song. Definitely a song anyone can relate to and become inspired from! Just by the title of the song I can tell Lewis has high hopes for the future/ music and will continue to rise and grow as an artist.
