Fresh off of the Cud Life Tour, King Chip delivered an electrifying performance that served as the final hip-hop concert at Peabody’s in Cleveland. On the eve of his 27th birthday, Chip chose to take the stage near midnight. Of the rich catalog of music that he’s put together over the years, Chip performed select tracks from 44108, as well as songs from the Gift Raps EP and his debut Money Mixtape. The highlight from the night seemed to have been when he called on fellow SLAB collaborator Al Fatz (Formerly Fat Al) to perform the classic midwest track, “Get it Gurl”. Chip also catered to the stoner crowd that was vibrantly present as kush clouds filled the air while he performed timeless smoke anthems “Hyyer” and “I Got Five” (Five Bucks). Chip rocked the stage for roughly an hour before ending the night by delivering his verse on the Indicud track “Just What I Am.”
