With our latest ImFromCleveland Exclusive we bring you a song for the smokers with Shawn K and Olu’s "Joint Music." You may remember the names Shawn K and Olu from previous features, but it has been a little while since they have been on the site. Just because they are quiet does not mean they weren’t enhancing their craft and this song shows just that. Over some spacey synths mixed with some classic hip-hop drums, both MC’s handle their wordplay with a melodramatic tone that lets their lyricism stand out. The song is the first single off of Shawn K’s upcoming EP Who I Am which we haven't confirmed a release on but is set out sometime this year. We hope to see more from these two bright, young MC’s in the near future. Stay tuned to ImFromCleveland as we will be the first to keep you updated.
