Kevin Gilmore, also known as rap artist Grade A, was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. On October 15th, 1985 he embarked around music as a battle rapper. Determined to escape the streets later on after serving a prison term, he decided to take his career more seriously. He began working very diligently to pursue his dream of becoming a successful artist in the music industry. He has a son, who happens to be a major part of his motivation (Kartier Gilmore). He's only 10 years old, but is already a rising star in the boxing league.
