Via Complex The first trailer for the Sundance Film Festival favorite The Land, executive produced by Nas, has arrived. Written and directed by Steven Caple Jr., The Landfollows four Cleveland teenagers as they navigate their dreams of becoming professional skateboarders. Once the crew gets wrapped up in the activities of a local drug ring, their friendship—and their dreams—are put to the ultimate test. The film stars Erykah Badu, Michael K. Williams (The Wire), Machine Gun Kelly, Kim Coates (Sons of Anarchy), Jorge Lendeborg Jr., Moises Arias, Rafi Gavron, Ezri Walker, and a veritable host of fresh talent. In addition to serving as executive producer, Nas is also producing an accompanying soundtrack expected to feature new music from MGK, Badu, Kanye West, French Montana, Pusha T, Jeremih, and Nas himself. That soundtrack, available through Mass Appeal, is set to be released July 29.
