2014 is coming close to end, and we will be releasing a recap of each artist we chose last for our Cleveland's Next Up series. We received a lot of feedback on our list last year, and now we are here to display the accomplishments and advancements this group of talented artists made since last December. Cleveland's Next Up: Shuicide Holla (2014 Recap)
- To start the year Shuicide Holla Released the "Father To Son Speech" visual in February and held a live showcase at Kings & Queens Lounge showcasing a few upcoming vocalists around the area.
- His next move was dropping Sophmore Year Pt. 1 which was reached over 25k downloads.
- Debuted his music video “Thoroughbred” featuring Bei Sims on Vevo.
- In June Shuicide opened for Waka Flocka Flame At the Kent Stage.
- Shuicide held an event “Leaders Of The New School” for artists who had buzz in the city, and beforehand there was a meet and greet at Next. Artists who performed: NicX, Ezzy, Bei Sims, Riz Leigh, & Graddy Co
- His remix to Bobby Shmurda’s "Hot Nigga" was debuted on Z107.9 by DJ Steph Floss. He then released a remix to Dej Loaf’s “Try Me” (with a recreated instrumental by his producer Matlock. The track nearly reached 100,00 views in 2 weeks.
- He then released his mixtape Sophmore Year Pt.2.
- Another Vevo release for his video “Same Ol Me” which is a sneak peek off of his upcoming EP “Achilles Tongue.”
- One Month After the release of this visual, Shuicide went on to win the Ohio Hip Hop Awards "Lyricist Of The Year" Title for the 2nd year straight.
