Kid Cudi has been layin' low since Passion, Pain, & Demon Slayin' released. Last night, he made an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. When I heard the news, the first thing I wondered was which song he was going to perform. Honestly, I think it was a surprise to many that "Kitchen" was the song he decided to roll with.
It seemed like Cudi had lacked some energy during the performance. He stood still the entire time, until he broke out in some arm-flailing that did vibe with the song towards the end. He showed little emotion the entire time, but as the song ends he brakes out in contagious smiles.
Overall, I still enjoyed the performance. The production on the song is amazing. The strings and sounds provided by the band made up for the lost life that Cudi seemed to be missing. Watch for yourself above!
