Over a year has gone by since any release from Swerve, however, today he is back with the release of a new single "The Afterthoughts". The record reflects on the loss of a parent, as shown through the harmonious chorus narrated by Marcus Alan Ward. Backed by two verses from Cleveland's Stokely, one third of Common Ave. Stokely tells the story of the loss of his step father and seeing and remembering him in his day to day life. Guitar, from Brad Puette, partnered with keys and drums from Phrazes, one third of Common Ave, paint the emotional back drop and provide the blueprint.
