Shawn Reyez first caught my attention when he released a video called "Breaking News." I LOVED the fact that an artist had a real message behind their music that I could share with others knowing they were going to fuck with it! It's been some time now since that video released, but his newest one "First Born" continues to prove that Shawn is a conscience rapper who is providing words of wisdom to his listeners. However, his message is specifically for his child. It's troubling to bring a child into this life, so Shawn lets go of his honest thoughts and gives some advice to his first born.
