Shawn Reyez was immediately placed on my radar for artists to watch after he dropped the video for his song Breaking News. In "Catch The Fade," he offers some serious bars. That is nothing new.. What I enjoyed about this track in particular is the approach he takes in creating a catchy hook, which comes off as sort of trap-style with the recently-popular mumble voice sound. Shawn always keeps it real, which is just one reason to continue following up on his releases.
